CAMPBELL STRACHAN

JUNIOR STRENGTH & PERFORMANCE COACH

Campbell is a graduate of Acadia University’s Bachelor of Kinesiology with a specialization in exercise science and training. While at Acadia, Campbell worked as the senior strength and conditioning coach for both men’s varsity hockey and soccer programs. He has continuously provided athletes with a competitive edge both on the ice and on field using a contrast of conventional and evidence-based S&C.

 

Campbell has also worked closely with provincial and national level programs at the Canadian Sport Institute including NS/National team Karate, NS Rowing, NS Badminton, and Soccer Nova Scotia. These programs have seen athletes excel to the Pan-Am Games, NCAA, OUA, and AUS.

 

Campbell’s experience extends beyond the sporting world to both clinical and occupational settings. Most recently, his experience is working as a strength coach with members of the Canadian Armed Forces, expressing the diversity of his S&C knowledge and applying it to the most unique operational demands. Previous clinical rehab clients include individuals with Parkinsons, Dementia, and Cancer.
